AEW’s Reported Plans For Women’s Title Match

AEW will be crowning their first Women’s Champion during the October 2nd debut episode on TNT, but they need competitors first.

There will be a Casino Battle Royale match at All Out where the winner will be placed in the AEW Women’s Title match in Washington, DC. Now they need an opponent for that winner.

F4WOnline reports that the already booked match between Riho and Hikaru Shida will be a #1 contender’s match. This announcement hasn’t been made official by the company, but that is reportedly the plan.

We will just have to wait and see who shows up for the big Casino Battle Royale match, but the winner of that match will apparently be facing one of two women.
