AEW’s WrestleDream pay-per-view is one of the most highly anticipated events in a long time. With a strong lineup of matches from start to finish, AEW has made sure fans will be entertained all night.
Adam Page will be defending the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe in what’s expected to be an all-time classic. Joe and Page have a lot of history, dating back to their feud back in 2024, so we’ll have to see if Page will retain the title in the end.
Jon Moxley will be squaring off against Darby Allin in an I Quit match at AEW WrestleDream. The two have been determined to destroy each other even before the match, so it remains to be seen who will end up saying “I Quit” once and for all.
After losing the AEW Women’s Championship at All Out, “Timeless” Toni Storm invoked her rematch clause against Kris Statlander and the two will be duking it out at AEW WrestleDream. Storm will stop at nothing to get back her title, while Statlander wants to show the world what she’s made of. So, fans will just have to wait until the event to see who walks out as the champion.
Kyle Fletcher defends his TNT Championship against veteran Mark Briscoe. The two have faced each other plenty of times already, but Briscoe is now desperate to beat Fletcher no matter what. So, fans are excited to see whether Redneck Kung Fu will prevail this time around.
Brodido defend the World Tag Team Championships against Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita of the Don Callis Family. Lately, there’s been growing issues between Okada and Takeshita, so we’ll have to see whether they can work together and pick up the win over Brodido.
Mercedes Mone issued a TBS Title Open Challenge to any champion to face her at AEW WrestleDream. This comes after she retained the CMLL Women’s World Championship against Persephone on the 10/17 edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular. So it remains to be seen who will step up to the plate and challenge her.
Jamie Hayter will be going one-on-one with Thekla after weeks of buildup, so fans can expect a hard-hitting bout. In another match, Jurassic Express will duke it out with the Young Bucks in a tag team match for a $500,000 cash prize.
The Hurt Syndicate will continue their feud with The Demand as they’ll square off against each other in a tornado trios match.
For the Saturday Tailgate Brawl, FTR will be facing off against JetSpeed in tag team action. HOOK and Eddie Kingston are also expected to be in action. In another match, the Conglomeration and Roderick Strong will wrestle the Death Riders. Finally, Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne will compete against Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron in tag team action.
