AEW is taking its year-end party to familiar territory. The company officially announced that AEW Worlds End will hit the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois on Saturday, December 27—bringing a massive PPV back to the venue where AEW’s journey began.
Tickets for the event drop Monday, September 8 at 10 AM CT via Ticketmaster.com and AEWTix.com. Fans hungry for a head start can sign up for early presale access by becoming an AEW Insider at AllEliteWrestling.com. AEW President Tony Khan dropped the big news and made it clear the holiday timing was no coincidence.
“We’ve had such a great run of AEW TV these past few weeks…we’ve had so many great pay-per-view shows here over the years,” Khan said. “I thought it would be great for the first time ever, this holiday season, to bring AEW Worlds End to the Chicagoland area.”
He mentioned the historical significance of the NOW Arena, calling it AEW’s origin point.
“I’m very excited to announce December 27th, for the first time ever, Worlds End is coming to Chicago… the NOW Arena, where it all began for us.”
The PPV event lands just days after Christmas and is being framed as a must-see way to cap off the holiday weekend with elite action and high-stakes drama.
More details on AEW Worlds End—including match card, appearances, and special surprises—are expected in the coming months.
