Fletcher shocked everyone by beating Ospreay at Full Gear and has been on a roll in this tournament. However, Ospreay is determined to get his revenge and finally get to the finals. With their personal history, this match will be emotional and fans can’t wait to see who will win when all is said and done.
The winners of the semi-finals will meet in the finals to determine the Continental Classic champion. Whether it’s Okada, Ricochet, Ospreay, or Fletcher, the stakes are massive, and the winner will definitely make history.
Konosuke Takeshita defends his International Championship against Powerhouse Hobbs in what’s expected to be a hard-hitting bout. Hobbs, now on his own after leaving the Don Callis Family, wants to show he’s more than capable of winning on his own. Takeshita’s technical skills and experience will make this a very difficult fight for Hobbs, so it remains to be seen who will prevail in the end.
Mercedes Moné and Kris Statlander go head-to-head in a rematch of their incredible battle at Full Gear. MJF defends his Dynamite Diamond Ring for the sixth year in a row, this time against his former friend Adam Cole at Worlds End. The ring is a major part of MJF’s identity, but Cole wants to end his reign and claim the ring for himself. Their history obviously makes things more interesting and adds to this highly anticipated match as it will likely be the end of their feud, something that fans really want.
Mariah May and Thunder Rosa will finally duke it out in a brutal Tijuana Street Fight as May puts her AEW Women’s Championship on the line. Jon Moxley defends his AEW World Championship against three top challengers: Hangman Page, Orange Cassidy, and Jay White. Each of them has what it takes to win, but Moxley’s reign has been unstoppable so far. With so many competitors in one match, anything could happen, as there’s the chance the Purveyor of Violence will lose his title when the dust settles. So it can easily go in a different direction than what fans think.
AEW also added three matches to the World’s End: Zero Hour pre-show. Toni Storm, who believes she’s a newcomer in AEW, takes on Leila Grey in singles competition.
In another match, Jeff Jarrett will be facing off against QT Marshall in a one-on-one match to determine who’s better. Finally, The Outrunners and Top Flight take on the explosive group of Lio Rush, Action Andretti, and the hard-hitting Murder Machines, so fans can expect some solid in-ring action in this bout.
