AEW TNT Championship Vacated

Fletcher was hurt during the March 28 episode of AEW Collision while teaming with Mark Davis against Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz. There had been speculation about his condition, and now AEW has made the call official.

Tony Khan announced ahead of AEW Dynamite that the TNT Championship has been vacated. He also stated that Fletcher is expected to be out of action for months due to the injury.

A new TNT Champion will be crowned this Sunday at AEW Dynasty in Vancouver. The title will be decided in a Casino Gauntlet match featuring multiple competitors.

Tommaso Ciampa and Mascara Dorada are set to face off on Dynamite to determine the first entrant in the Casino Gauntlet match at Dynasty.

Kyle Fletcher’s injury forced AEW to make a major change, and now the TNT Championship is up for grabs heading into Dynasty.
