AEW Star Undergoing Surgery After Injury Setback

The injuries just keep piling up for La Facción Ingobernable — and now Dralistico has officially confirmed he’s going under the knife.

In a video shared to his Instagram, the ROH and AEW star gave fans a personal update, revealing that he’s undergoing surgery after being pulled from in-ring competition. H thanked fans and AEW for the support.

“The day has arrived. I’ll go into surgery in a bit and I’ll be in God’s hands 🙏🏻 so that everything goes well 🙏🏻 Thank you for your good wishes, thank you @aew for your support.”

This comes after weeks of speculation about his condition. As reported by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dralistico was believed to be dealing with a serious ear injury that could require surgery — now confirmed by the man himself.

Dralistico hasn’t competed since the October 29, 2025 episode of AEW Collision, where he teamed with Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos in a trios match against Komander, Mark Briscoe, and Roderick Strong. That match now marks his final in-ring appearance before his medical hiatus.

The timing couldn’t have been worse for La Facción Ingobernable. Just before ROH Final Battle, Dralistico’s brother Rush was pulled due to a knee injury that may also require surgery — forcing major changes to the Final Battle lineup.

“Rush suffered a knee injury and is out of action. That also means due to injury, Rush & Guevara are vacating the ROH tag team titles. Rush may need knee surgery and brother Dralistico may need ear surgery.”

Now, with both Rush and Dralistico officially sidelined, La Facción Ingobernable’s immediate future is in question. AEW has shown support publicly, but there’s no timetable for return — and no word on whether the group will be restructured in the meantime. For now, Dralistico is focused on recovery — and fans are left hoping the brothers return in top form down the line.
