AEW taped the October 11 episode of Collision at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, but the night took a serious turn when Kota Ibushi was stretchered out following a hard fall during his singles match with Josh Alexander.

While competing against Alexander, Ibushi fell out of the ring in a spot that immediately concerned fans and officials alike. Medical personnel quickly rushed to his side to assess the situation. After some time had passed, Ibushi was stretchered away from the ringside area, signaling what appeared to be a legitimate injury scare.

Following the incident, the arena lights dimmed and AEW President Tony Khan made his way out to personally thank the live audience for their patience and for showing respect during the medical delay.

Despite the concerning moment, the rest of the taping went on as scheduled. Josh Alexander picked up the win, and Kenny Omega made a surprise appearance by hitting Alexander with a v-trigger after the bell. But the crowd’s focus never shifted far from Ibushi, whose condition remains unknown at this time.
