Angelo Parker is finally making his way back to AEW television after a nine-month hiatus, and he’s wasting no time jumping back into the action.
Parker, who last competed on the April 12 episode of AEW Rampage, has been off TV since his feud with Zak Knight and Saraya ended. The storyline wrapped up when Parker and his now-wife Ruby Soho announced they were expecting their first child. Their daughter, Evie, was born on October 31, 2024.
On AEW Collision, Matt Menard and Daniel Garcia found themselves in a heated showdown with Shane Taylor Promotions before receiving unexpected help from the Undisputed Kingdom. However, the situation quickly escalated when Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong made it clear they were coming for Garcia’s TNT Championship.
Backstage, the Undisputed Kingdom challenged Menard and Garcia to a trios match, but they were missing a third man. That’s when Garcia reminded everyone of his roots with 2point0 back in 2021 and told Menard to “call the new dad.” Just like that, Parker’s return match was made official for next week’s Collision in Jacksonville.
Angelo Parker is back, and he’s not wasting any time jumping into the action. After nearly a year away, he’s stepping right into a trios battle alongside his longtime allies. With the Undisputed Kingdom standing in their way, Parker’s return match won’t be an easy one.
Will he pick up right where he left off, or will ring rust slow him down? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
