Josh Alexander’s night took a scary turn as he possibly suffered an injury — and now there are questions about what happens next.

During the AEW Collision Slam Dunk tapings in Fresno, California on Wednesday, Alexander appeared to suffer a knee injury in the middle of a World Trios Championship match. He was teaming with El Clon and Konosuke Takeshita against Kevin Knight, Mike Bailey, and Mistico when things went wrong.

According to those in attendance at the Save Mart Center, Alexander had to be helped to the back during the match — a moment that immediately raised concern about the severity of the situation. Despite the injury scare, the match continued and ended with a title change, as Knight, Bailey, and Mistico captured the World Trios Championships.

And that’s where things get uncertain. As of now, there’s been no official word from AEW on Alexander’s condition — leaving his status completely up in the air. That’s a big deal considering what’s coming up next for him.

Alexander is currently scheduled to appear at the Ring of Honor and Maple Leaf Pro Global Wars event in Windsor, Ontario on March 27 and 28, where he’s set to compete as the reigning MLP Champion. If this injury is serious, those appearances could be in jeopardy. Right now, everything is wait-and-see.

Alexander was gaining momentum on AEW programming as part of The Don Callis Family, and this incident comes at a time when he was actively featured alongside Konosuke Takeshita. The tapings where the injury happened are set to air on March 21 and March 22 on TNT — meaning fans will soon see exactly how things went down. For now, there’s no confirmation — just concern.

Do you think Josh Alexander will be able to make his upcoming appearances, or could this injury sideline him for a while? Drop your thoughts and feedback below.
