Indie star Lena Kross may be closer than ever to stepping into an AEW ring—because she was just spotted sitting next to Tony Khan.

On February 13, Kross was seen attending the PWA Black Label Colosseum show in Australia alongside the AEW President himself, just one day before AEW Grand Slam Australia takes over the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. AEW Grand Slam Australia takes place on February 14, and there’s a big chance that Kross could make her official debut at the event.

This appearance comes on the heels of a Fightful Select report from December 2025 stating that AEW was either finalizing or had already completed a deal with Kross. One source within AEW said at the time: “She’s either signed a deal with AEW or will be soon.”

Kross, an Australian-born talent, has made a name for herself on the independent scene with a punishing schedule and international experience—especially in Japan, where she’s wrestled annually for Sedai Girls since 2022. TNA reportedly made a push to sign her earlier in 2025, but Kross ultimately didn’t commit to the promotion.

Adding more weight to AEW rumors, sources have noted that Kross is in the process of relocating to Florida—home base for AEW’s talent and operations. All signs point to a major arrival—and with Tony Khan publicly by her side just a day before AEW’s second major event in Australia, the debut might come sooner than expected.
