AEW ended 2024 on a high note by airing special episodes of Dynamite, Collision, Rampage, and even ROH Final Battle at the iconic Hammerstein Ballroom. Fans have been wondering if AEW would return to the famous venue and now it appears the company will return to the Ballroom this year.

While speaking during a Q&A session, WrestleVotes reported that AEW is planning a return to the Hammerstein Ballroom this December, just like they did last year to positive feedback. The company is expected to tape a few episodes of their television shows at the iconic New York City venue during the holiday season.

“I can give you breaking news here. I’ve learned through sources that they’re going to return to the Manhattan Center, the Hammerstein Ballroom once again this December like they did last year, to rave reviews. So New York City around the holidays — AEW will be back in the Hammerstein Ballroom for a few episodes of their TV.”

Last year’s episodes of AEW programming at the Hammerstein Ballroom were a huge success when it comes to selling tickets as well as overall show quality, since the iconic venue gave the shows a whole different vibe.

This also comes after AEW President Tony Khan made it clear last year that he is more than open to holding future shows at the Hammerstein Ballroom, so it’s no surprise they will be returning there again this year.

AEW is getting ready to end 2025 with another big set of shows. Fans can look forward to special holiday episodes that will take place in one of wrestling’s most famous venues. Therefore, it remains to be seen if this year’s events will do as well as they did in 2024.
