It’s official—AEW pay-per-views will now streaming on HBO Max, and fans are getting more than just a new platform. Starting with AEW All Out on Saturday, September 20, subscribers can catch the event live on Max for an exclusive discounted price of $39.99, with the show set for an earlier start time of 3 PM ET.

AEW confirmed to Fightful Select that this launch kicks off a new era for its relationship with Warner Bros. Discovery. The announcement also puts to rest months of speculation about AEW’s long-discussed move to the HBO Max platform.

“Warner Bros. Discovery, HBO Max and All Elite Wrestling today announced a groundbreaking expansion of their nearly six-year relationship,” the joint statement read. The deal starts with All Out at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena and will include “live AEW pay-per-view events without ads,” enhanced with HDR10 and Dolby Atmos for that full-arena viewing experience.

Preorders go live on Friday, September 5, and Max subscribers will be able to locate the PPV easily under “My Purchases” in the app once the event is bought. Replays will be exclusive to HBO Max for six months, with no other streaming platforms offering them during that window.

Leading into the PPV, Max and TNT will air AEW Saturday Tailgate Brawl: All Out at 2 PM ET, a live one-hour hype show to set the stage. Earlier that same week, AEW will broadcast September to Remember on Wednesday, September 17 from London, Ontario—a three-hour special airing on TBS and HBO Max.

The early afternoon time slot isn’t random either. AEW made the decision after seeing strong results from Forbidden Door’s earlier showing and adjusted to avoid WWE’s WrestlePalooza, which airs later that same night on ESPN.

This move gives HBO Max users access to a massive AEW library, including simulcasts and replays of Dynamite and Collision, every PPV through the end of 2024, and select classic episodes.

With AEW content now reaching over 11 million fans on WBD networks this year, the addition of HBO Max PPVs is another major play in the company’s growing streaming strategy.
