AEW Makes Major Change to Dynamite & Collision Schedule

AEW is switching things up next week with a special three-hour combo edition of Dynamite and Collision to set the stage for WrestleDream.

The mega show will air live from Kansas City, Missouri on Wednesday, October 15, starting at 8 PM Eastern. The announcement came during this week’s Title Tuesday broadcast, and it’s another major programming shift as AEW enters the final stretch before their pay-per-view on Saturday, October 18.

This will serve as the official go-home show before WrestleDream, but that’s not the only scheduling twist coming. AEW also revealed a string of taping nights over the next few weeks. Following Kansas City, the company will tape both Dynamite and Collision on Wednesday, October 22 in San Antonio, Texas, and again on Wednesday, October 29 in Edinburg, Texas.

Fans hoping for live Saturday editions of Collision will have to wait until November 8, when AEW returns live from Houston, Texas.

AEW has been testing the limits of extended programming in the first year of its new multi-year deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. In just the past few months, fans have seen everything from June’s four-hour Summer Blockbuster, to last week’s two-and-a-half hour Anniversary special, and Wednesday’s two-and-a-half hour Title Tuesday event.

AEW’s willingness to stretch beyond the standard two-hour show continues to shake up the weekly wrestling schedule—especially as they push closer to major events like WrestleDream.
