The March 12 episode of AEW Dynamite had lots of solid moments that kept fans entertained throughout the night, but fans were surprised that the show had more promos than usual. In fact, there was a reason for that, as it appears AEW made some last-minute changes to this week’s edition of Dynamite as well.

While speaking on the post AEW Dynamite show, Sean Ross Sapp stated that this episode of AEW Dynamite focused heavily on promos for many of the top talents, as several of them had been banged up over the past week.

Sean Ross Sapp mentioned that some parts of the show got switched up at the last minute since some wrestlers couldn’t quite do what AEW had originally anticipated. He added that things like this happen now and then with AEW.

“This AEW Dynamite was a promo-heavy show for a lot of the top talent because, quite frankly, a lot of them were beat to dog s*** this week. I do know that some of this show changed kind of late because there were people who couldn’t quite do what AEW had originally anticipated. This happens here and there with AEW.”

MJF and MVP had a very solid promo segment on Dynamite this week, where MJF was offered an invitation to join The Hurt Syndicate, Will Ospreay ended up calling his shots for the AEW World Title, and even Kenny Omega had a solid promo during the show.

This isn’t the first time AEW has had to make sudden changes. Last week, AEW also had to adjust plans due to talent illness, but the company still ensured that Dynamite was an entertaining show. Despite the challenges, fans seemed to enjoy the episode, showing that AEW can adapt quickly and still deliver solid programming.
