AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming is drawing a near-capacity crowd. Fans are hyped for the show tonight, and it will be a tough ticket to get your hands on as well.

WrestleTix reported that the Gateway Center Arena setup is just under 2,900 seats, with only a small handful of tickets still unsold. The update noted that more than 2,800 seats had already been distributed, sections were expanded due to demand. The event’s ticket movement over the prior day also showed a significant jump, and the cheapest remaining standard ticket was listed at just over $30.

After the WrestleTix update circulated, Sean Ross Sapp added an important detail about the internal situation behind the scenes. It seems that even talent can’t get tickets for free.

“The company actually sent out an internal memo saying comps aren’t even available for tonight.”

The AEW Winter is Coming card is quite loaded. Samoa Joe is defending the AEW World Championship against Eddie Kingston. The Babes of Wrath face the Timeless Love Bombs in the Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament Finals. Also Jon Moxley meets Claudio Castagnoli in a Continental Classic Blue League match. Kazuchika Okada will also take on PAC in a Continental Classic Gold League match. In another match for the card, Kyle Fletcher will face Kevin Knight in a Gold League match.

A separate AEW Collision Winter is Coming event on December 13 in Cardiff features FTR defending the AEW World Tag Team Championship against the Bang Bang Gang. Mark Briscoe will defend the TNT Championship against Daniel Garcia. There are a few more key matches planned, and AEW obviously has a bit of interest for the special event on Wednesday, especially since they set up for less than 3,000 fans in the building.
