AEW Interested In Released WWE Talent

Isla Dawn’s WWE chapter may be over, but her story inside the ring is far from finished—and AEW is ready to turn the page.

According to WrestleVotes Radio, the former WWE star is on AEW’s radar in a big way, with one source even claiming she’s already been spotted backstage at a recent AEW taping. The report makes it clear AEW’s interest in Dawn is more than just casual.

“We have learned through sources that AEW is heavily interested in recently released talent, Isla Dawn. So much so, according to one source, she was recently backstage at an AEW taping… the expectation is that she will begin working AEW shows in the very near future.”

Dawn, known for her eerie persona and supernatural vibe, was released from WWE in February 2025. But it didn’t take long for her to make it clear that her career isn’t six feet under.

“The white witch is gone. The unholy enchantress buried in the grave. Two-time tag team champion, ashes in an urn. But don’t grieve for me. Isla Dawn’s not dead yet.”

With AEW consistently adding new talent and building out its women’s division, Dawn’s otherworldly character could be a perfect fit. Her arrival would mark another WWE-to-AEW transition as the company continues to bolster its roster with names from across the industry.

For now, all signs point to Isla Dawn walking through the Forbidden Door sooner rather than later.
