AEW is packing its bags for another trip to Australia. After making its debut earlier this year, the company has officially been announced for a 2026 return—and this time, the expectations are huge.
TEG Sport, one of Australia’s biggest sports outlets, broke the news with a bold statement that left no doubt about how big they’re planning to go.
“All Elite Wrestling returns in 2026… and it’s going to be EPIC. The energy. The chaos. The spectacle. It all goes down right here. Don’t miss your shot, join the waitlist NOW to score access to the presale very soon and lock in your place when history is made Down Under. AEW. Australia 2026. Be ready.”
Fans in Australia were introduced to AEW in February 2025 during the Grand Slam event. That show ended with Toni Storm defeating Mariah May to reclaim the AEW Women’s Championship. But despite the star power, not everything went smoothly. The smaller ring used for the event drew major criticism, and fans who paid big money for terrible seats were left furious when refunds and adjustments never came.
Now with AEW set for a second chance, many believe 2026 could be the year the company proves itself in the Australian market. If the promises of “energy, chaos, and spectacle” are delivered, AEW could flip the script and make fans forget the frustrations of their rocky debut.
