AEW is about to lose a key part of its backstage team. Jeremy Flynn, AEW’s Director of Live Events, has announced that this Saturday’s Full Gear pay-per-view will be his final show with the company.
Flynn took to Twitter to confirm his departure, explaining that he’s stepping away to focus on running his own business and spending more time with his family. While the decision was difficult, Flynn made it clear that his time in AEW meant a lot to him and that he’s grateful for everything the company has given him.
“This is bittersweet, but this Saturday will be my last event with @AEW. I have an opportunity to work for my own company and spend more time with family. @AEW has been like family and I appreciate the opportunity from @TonyKhan. Wishing nothing but continued success for AEW!”
Flynn joined AEW in 2024 after serving as the Senior Director of Marketing and Live Events for Professional Bull Riders. He holds both an MBA and BBA in Marketing from the University of Central Arkansas and brought over two decades of experience in live event production, fan engagement, and tour operations.
In AEW, Flynn played a major role in expanding the company’s live events schedule and improving the overall show experience for fans. From house shows to major pay-per-views, his influence helped bring AEW’s live brand to the next level. His departure is a significant shift for the team responsible for AEW’s growing national and international presence.
Flynn’s impact will no doubt be felt long after his exit, and while the company moves forward, his work laid a strong foundation. Full Gear will now serve not only as a major PPV event—but also as a farewell to a behind-the-scenes figure who helped shape the fan experience for thousands.
