AEW Dynasty is the company’s second pay-per-view of the year, and it’s shaping up to be a night full of memorable moments and epic matches. AEW has a great reputation for putting on top-tier shows, and they’re pulling out all the stops to make sure Dynasty is one fans will remember.
The main event sees MJF put the AEW World Title on the line against Kenny Omega, in what’s expected to be an incredible match. MJF has made it clear he will end the Cleaner once and for all, while Omega wants to show the world he can still be champion, so we’ll have to see who will win in the end.
Jon Moxley defends the Continental Championship against Will Ospreay in what could easily steal the show. Ospreay has been going after Moxley ever since he came back at AEW Revolution and wants revenge for putting him on the shelf last year. So it remains to be seen if he can beat Moxley for the title once and for all.
Thekla will put her AEW Women’s Championship on the line against Jamie Hayter. This comes after Hayter stepped up and challenged Thekla for the title last week on AEW Collision. So fans are looking forward to seeing how Hayter fares against Thekla.
FTR will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Adam Copeland and Christian Cage at AEW Revolution. This comes after Copeland and Cage returned at Revolution and went after FTR for putting them out of action last year. So we’ll have to see if FTR will somehow retain the titles against the legendary tag team.
A new AEW TNT Champion will be crowned in a chaotic Casino Gauntlet match featuring names like Tommaso Ciampa and Rush. This comes after Kyle Fletcher was forced to vacate the title after suffering an injury, so it remains to be seen who will walk out of AEW Dynasty as the new champion.
Chris Jericho will be competing in his first match in over a year as he takes on Ricochet in singles competition. This comes after Ricochet had a heated confrontation with him on this past week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, so fans are looking forward to seeing how Le Champion fares against Ricochet.
Andrade El Idolo takes on Darby Allin in singles action. The Young Bucks will duke it out with Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita. Clark Connors, David Finlay, and Gabe Kidd will defend the AEW trios titles against The Conglomeration.
In another match, Lena Kross and Megan Bayne defend the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship against Hyan and Maya World. Jack Perry will also defend the AEW National Championship against Mark Davis. Finally, Marina Shafir squares off against Alex Windsor.
The AEW Dynasty pay-per-view promises to deliver high drama, incredible matchups, and storylines. With solid matches such as Jon Moxley vs. Will Ospreay, MJF vs. Kenny Omega and many more matches, it’s definitely a show that fans shouldn’t miss. As a reminder, Ringside News will have live play-by-play coverage of the event over in our AEW Dynasty section.
