The May 14, 2025, episode of AEW Dynamite delivered one of its most impactful broadcasts of the spring, loaded with major storyline payoffs and a chaotic steel cage main event. With rising fan interest and momentum heading into Double or Nothing, the show saw a noticeable increase in both total viewership and key demo performance — and even beat WWE NXT this week in both categories.
According to Programming Insider, AEW Dynamite drew 682,000 viewers on TBS, up from the 629,000 viewers it earned on May 7. In the P18–49 demographic, Dynamite scored a 0.17 rating, up from last week’s 0.16. These figures reflect live broadcast data and do not include delayed or Max streaming numbers.
Even more significantly, AEW Dynamite outperformed WWE NXT’s May 13 episode, which drew 664,000 viewers and a 0.15 in the 18–49 demo — giving Dynamite a rare weekly victory in the ongoing Wednesday night wrestling battle.
These figures reflect live broadcast viewership only and do not include streaming viewership from Max, which remains unreported.
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured a lot of memorable moments. This includes MJF finally joining the Hurt Syndicate after Bobby Lashley gave him a stamp of approval.
Gabe Kidd also made his shocking appearance at the end of Jon Moxley and Samoa Joe’s steel cage match to set up the Anarchy in the Arena match for the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
