The July 16, 2025 episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS was full of exciting action and strong storylines, as AEW dealt with the aftermath of AEW All In: Texas. One of the big moments came at the end of the show, when Darby Allin showed up and made his presence known. In fact, AEW managed to beat NXT in ratings this week.

According to Programming Insider, this week’s Dynamite averaged 588,000 viewers, a drop from the 637,000 pulled in on July 9. In the 18–49 key demographic, the show earned a 0.15 rating—slightly down from last week’s 0.16.

Despite the decline, AEW Dynamite narrowly edged out WWE NXT this week. NXT’s July 15th episode brought in 586,000 viewers with a 0.12 demo rating, making for one of the tightest ratings races between the two programs in recent months.
