AEW is putting in the effort to make Dynamite’s October 1 episode a big deal. Since it’s the six-year anniversary special edition of the show, fans can expect a packed show with plenty of action from beginning to end.
“Timeless” Toni Storm Returns
Toni Storm will be making her first appearance on AEW television since she dropped the AEW Women’s Championship to Kris Statlander at the All Out pay-per-view last month. Considering how she lost the title, fans are interested in seeing what Storm will have to say on the show.
The Young Bucks & Josh Alexander vs. Kenny Omega & Brodido
The Young Bucks will be teaming up with “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander to face Kenny Omega and Brodido in trios action. This will be Kenny Omega’s return to in-ring action since AEW Forbidden Door, so we’ll have to wait and see whether Omega and Brodido will end up winning somehow.
TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Orange Cassidy
Kyle Fletcher puts the TNT Title on the line against Orange Cassidy. Cassidy has been a thorn in the Don Callis Family’s side ever since he returned last week on AEW Dynamite, so it remains to be seen whether he can dethrone Kyle Fletcher and become the new TNT Champion.
Other Matches
Jurassic Express will be making their appearance on AEW Dynamite this week. This comes after they reunited at AEW All Out, much to the approval of fans and fans can expect a memorable promo from them.
In another match, Darby Allin teams with Kris Statlander to face Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir in a mixed tornado tag team match. Finally, Hangman Adam Page teams up with Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs to square off against the Death Riders in a massive trios match.
