AEW is giving extra attention to the January 28 episode of Dynamite so it feels like a big show. They have planned a strong lineup with lots of matches and moments, making sure fans will have a great time from start to finish.
AEW World Champion MJF is set to make an appearance on Dynamite this week. Considering the fact that he had a heated confrontation with Brody King last week, we’ll have to see whether MJF’s feud with King will continue on this week’s show.
AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley will take on Ace Austin in an AEW Continental Championship Elimination match. If Austin beats Moxley or lasts the full time limit, he earns a future Continental title shot, so it remains to be seen whether Austin can somehow manage to survive Moxley.
Kris Statlander will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Thekla. This comes after Thekla pinned Statlander during a trios match earlier this month, so fans are waiting to see if Thekla will pull off the upset win against Statlander.
Mark Briscoe will put his TNT Championship on the line against El Clon and it’s expected to be a solid one. In another match, FTR will defend the AEW Tag Team Titles against Mark Davis and Jake Doyle.
Andrade El Idolo will also go one-on-one with Swerve Strickland. Finally, Kenny Omega will square off against Rocky Romero as he continues his feud with the Don Callis Family.
