AEW is giving special attention to the February 11 episode of Dynamite to make it feel like a big show. The company has planned a strong lineup with many matches and exciting moments to keep fans entertained from start to finish.
Tommaso Ciampa has been on a roll since debuting in AEW last month, as he won the TNT Championship in his in-ring debut against Mark Briscoe. He already retained the title against Roderick Strong and Claudio Castagnoli and now he’s set to put his title on the line against Kyle Fletcher. This bout could be a Match of the Year contender, so it remains to be seen who will come out on top in the end.
The AEW Women’s World Championship will be contested under brutal strap match rules, as Kris Statlander defends against Thekla. Statlander already defeated Thekla on January 28, but this stipulation changes everything. So, fans are waiting to see if Statlander can survive the Austrian Spider in this brutal match.
AEW also booked a three-way tag team match to determine the next challengers for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. The Young Bucks earned their spot last week by defeating Gates of Agony, punching their ticket to the bout alongside The Rascalz and a mystery wild card team. So we’ll have to see who’ll end up challenging for the AEW World Tag Team Titles next.
After the tense confrontation between them last week, Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland are set to have a face-to-face interview on AEW Dynamite this week. With AEW Revolution a month away, it remains to be seen if AEW will book them for a match at the pay-per-view.
Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite features appearances from Kenny Omega and more, so it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss. As a reminder, Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of tonight’s show over in our AEW Dynamite coverage hub. Also keep checking back with Ringside News for more updates, because there could be several before the big show.
AEW Dynamite will be airing at 8 PM ET on TBS as well as streaming on MAX. The show will take place at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA and fans can look forward to a lot of great action at the event.
