AEW consistently goes all out to make Dynamite must-see television, and the May 14 episode will be no exception. As the special Beach Break edition, the show promises a stacked lineup and several high-stakes matches, making sure fans are in for a night full of action from start to finish.
Jon Moxley will be defending his AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe in a steel cage match. For weeks now, Joe has been absolutely destroying the Death Riders, and it’s clear he is looking to dismantle Moxley once and for all, so fans are excited to see whether the Samoan Submission Machine will topple Moxley and become the new AEW World Champion.
Last week, Toni Storm extended her streak with a big win and now she’s in for her biggest challenge yet as she will be squaring off against a returning Skye Blue as well as Mina Shirakawa and NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion AZM in a fatal four-way AEW Women’s Title eliminator match, so we’ll have to see who will come out on top in the end.
For weeks, MJF has begged, bribed, and beaten people up in order to get accepted into the Hurt Syndicate. Bobby Lashley has been against MJF joining the faction but MJF proved himself after destroying Top Flight last week on Dynamite. Bobby Lashley will respond to MJF’s actions on Dynamite this week so fans are waiting to see if Lashley will finally accept MJF and let him into the faction.
During the May 8th edition of AEW Collision, Ricochet attacked Zach Gowen and stole his prosthetic leg, leading to a match being confirmed between them for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether Zach Gowen will be able to get revenge on Ricochet.
Adam Page and Will Ospreay will be duking it out with the Don Callis Family’s Konosuke Takeshita and Josh Alexander. Considering the bad blood between the two teams, fans can expect a solid match on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite has several solid matches, including Jon Moxley vs. Samoa Joe, and many more, so it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss.
