The AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view promises to be an incredible show from start to finish, with matches like the Anarchy in the Arena expected to steal the show. That’s exactly why fans couldn’t be more excited for the event.
The men’s Owen Hart Cup Foundation Cup finals will see Will Ospreay face off against Adam Page in order to determine who will go on to challenge for the AEW World Championship at AEW All In: Texas. Ospreay and Page both have their own reasons to win the match, so we’ll have to wait and see who will ultimately come out on top.
In the women’s final, Mercedes Moné will be squaring off against Jamie Hayter to determine who will challenge for the AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW All In: Texas. Jamie Hayter currently has Mercedes Moné’s number and fans are excited to see who will pick up the win as both competitors have an equal chance at winning.
The yearly Anarchy in the Arena match promises to be full of chaos and violence as Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale & The Opps battle with The Death Riders and the Young Bucks. It’s clear that whoever wins the match will definitely have tons of momentum heading into the All In: Texas pay-per-view.
After scoring a shocking pin over Toni Storm earlier this month, Shirakawa will be challenging Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Championship at Double or Nothing. They have a lot of history together, so fans can expect a lot of theatrics and solid in-ring action in the match.
In what’s truly a dream match for many, Kazuchika Okada will defend his AEW Continental Championship against Mike Bailey in what’s expected to be a Match of the Year contender. Bailey currently has momentum heading into the bout, so we’ll have to see if he can defeat the Rainmaker and become the new champion.
Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin will defend their AEW Tag Team Titles against Sammy Guevara and Dustin Rhodes at AEW Double or Nothing. With MJF officially a member of the Hurt Syndicate, fans wouldn’t be surprised to see him get involved in the match in a big way and so it remains to be seen what will happen during the match.
Mark Briscoe and Ricochet will take their feud to a whole new level as they will be facing off against each other in a brutal stretcher match. In another match, Nigel McGuinness will make his in-ring return as he teams up with Daniel Garcia to face off against FTR in tag team action.
Paragon will also compete against the Don Callis Family after weeks of feuding with each other. Finally, Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford will team up to face Harley Cameron and Anna Jay in a women’s tag team bout, which is set for the Double or Nothing: Buy-In show.
