AEW’s annual Double or Nothing pay-per-view has been a staple of Memorial Day weekend in Las Vegas since the company’s inception in 2019, but that might be changing in 2025. AEW may be looking at a venue and location change for next year’s event.

During the Fightful Select Backstage Report Podcast Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp was asked if there were any updates regarding the date and location for AEW Double or Nothing 2025. He responded:

“As of the last I had heard, AEW Double or Nothing was not planned for Las Vegas. I don’t know about Memorial Day weekend, but the last I had asked, which was quite a while back, Double or Nothing was not planned for Las Vegas that weekend.”

This would mark the first time AEW Double or Nothing moves away from Sin City, where it has taken place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena or T-Mobile Arena since the company’s early days. AEW’s most recent event in Las Vegas,

Double or Nothing 2024, reportedly only turned a small profit after factoring in major expenses like talent airfare, production costs, and arena rental. With the company looking to maximize profitability, a new location could be a strategic move.

There’s still no official confirmation from AEW regarding a venue or date for Double or Nothing 2025, but with Sean Ross Sapp’s report, fans will be keeping a close eye on what Tony Khan’s next move will be.
