AEW International Championship: Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Katsuyori Shibata
Two of the best wrestlers in the world compete on AEW Collision this week as Konosuke Takeshita defends his AEW International Championship against Katsuyori Shibata. Fans are excited for this match as it’s expected to be a solid one.
TBS Title #1 Contenders Match: Deonna Purrazzo vs. Queen Aminata vs. Yuka Sakazaki vs. Serena Deeb
Deonna Purrazzo, Queen Aminata, Yuka Sakazaki, and Serena Deeb compete in a four-way match to determine who will challenge Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship. Each wrestler has their own style, like Purrazzo’s submissions and Sakazaki’s high-flying moves, making it anyone’s match to win and fans are looking forward to seeing who will come out on top in the end.
Kazuchika Okada vs. Komander
Kazuchika Okada will be squaring off against the high-flying Komander in what promises to be solid from start to finish in this champion vs. champion match. With Okada being the AEW Continental Champion and Kommander being the ROH World TV Champion, the match is definitely something fans can look forward to.
Samoa Joe vs. Nick Wayne
Samoa Joe was supposed to face off against Nick Wayne during the January 22nd edition of AEW Dynamite but it got postponed due to bad weather conditions. Therefore, the two will finally duke it out on Collision this week, in what will be Samoa Joe’s in-ring return in several months.
Mariah May and Toni Storm Face-to-Face
Toni Storm will be challenging Mariah May for the AEW Women’s Championship at Grand Slam: Australia next month, and they are set to have a face-to-face on Collision this week. Considering the fact that Storm is currently acting as a rookie, their confrontation will be an interesting one.
Other Matches
Big Bill and Powerhouse Hobbs will be facing off against each other in a highly anticipated match that will certainly be a hard-hitting one, to say the least.
Additionally, Gates of Agony will face off against Buddy Matthews & Brody King in a tag team match. Finally, Adam Cole reunites with Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong as they take on Daniel Garcia and 2point0 in a six-man tag match.
