AEW’s merchandise problems in Australia didn’t stop at Grand Slam — they carried straight into House Rules.

Just one day after fans blasted the merch situation at AEW Grand Slam Australia in Sydney, more complaints surfaced ahead of the February 15, 2026 AEW House Rules live event in Australia. Several attendees took to Twitter after doors opened, claiming the merchandise setup was once again lacking. One frustrated fan took to Twitter and said: “Time for @AEW #HouseRules but where is the f***** merch bruv”

Another attendee pointed out the limited options available at the stand, revealing there was barely anything to buy: “Only merch at #AEWHouseRules merch in Brisbane AEW House Rules AEW Grandslam Australia @AEW”

The only item available at one stand was a yellow AEW Grand Slam Australia-themed t-shirt — not even event-specific House Rules merchandise. A third fan shared a photo of the stand and pointed out how quickly the situation became clear after doors opened.

“Doors just opened 5 mins ago and this is the merch situation at #AEWHouseRules #AEWGrandSlamAustralia”

It’s also worth noting that VIP access may have played a role in the shortages. At Grand Slam Australia, some fans pointed out that certain items — including high-demand pieces — were made available to VIP ticket holders early, reducing what remained once general admission doors opened. If that was the case again for House Rules, it could explain why regular attendees walked into what looked like picked-over stands.

If this continues, AEW may need to seriously rethink how it stocks and distributes merchandise for overseas tours — especially in markets that don’t get frequent live events.

Do you think AEW needs to overhaul its merch strategy for international shows, or is this just growing pains during expansion? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
