The July 16 episode of AEW Dynamite went down at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois. They had a lot to get to, and that included debuting a new t-shirt with a type-o.
Adam Copeland made his big return during All In: Texas. This was a big moment for him, as fans had waited for months to see the Rated R Superstar in the ring once again.
During Dynamite this week, Cope took the ring during the show’s second hour. He also wore a new t-shirt, one that said, “Rated R Ledgend” on it. It didn’t take long for the internet to notice that AEW had a misspelling on Cope’s new merchandise.
Cope’s speech was a good one and fans were all behind him. They sang his song, and they treated him like the legend he is, even if his shirt had that word misspelled on it. After a while, Stokely Hathaway came out to interrupt him and draw a ton of heat on himself.
Stoke got to the real news after that. He said that Tony Khan received three anonymous emails complaining about how Cope used his baseball bat “Spike.” He then revealed that there is now a no-touch order on Cope when it comes to FTR. Cope cannot touch them at all, or he will be fired. Now FTR will focus on the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
