Adam Copeland is gearing up for AEW All Out in Toronto, and he’s bringing some serious nostalgia with him—plus a few uniquely Canadian surprises.
During a sit-down interview at The Score Studios, the Rated-R Superstar was asked about what fans could expect from his ring attire at the upcoming pay-per-view. Copeland didn’t give away everything, but he did offer just enough to get longtime fans intrigued.
“So, this one will be more of a tip of the hat to our team. And the attire that I wore while we teamed the first time. So, it’s more of a throwback to that. However, I do have some other plans that I got my fingers crossed about that are very Toronto, very Canadian. So, we’ll see.”
Copeland will be teaming with Christian Cage once again—this time against FTR at the Scotiabank Arena. But this isn’t just a reunion for nostalgia’s sake. Their current AEW storyline has taken on a whole new tone, with Christian operating as one of the most ruthless heels in the company and Copeland trying to keep things from falling apart. The fact that he’s paying tribute to their early days in the gear department is something you won’t want to miss.
Adam Copeland has always been one to deliver gear with meaning, and if he follows through on these plans, All Out in Toronto might end up being a full-circle fashion moment.
