Adam Copeland, known to wrestling fans as WWE Hall of Famer Edge and now AEW star, is officially in the Emmy conversation.

Variety reports that Copeland has snagged a nomination in the “Supporting Performer in a Preschool, Children’s or Young Teen Program” category for his work as Ares, the God of War, in Disney’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

The series, which has racked up an impressive 16 Emmy nominations, features Copeland as the fiery and unpredictable God of War, bringing his wrestling flair to the small screen. Fans of Percy Jackson and Copeland alike were thrilled to see his performance get industry recognition, showing his transition from the ring to the acting world has been nothing short of electrifying.

But Copeland isn’t walking into the ceremony unopposed. His fellow castmate, Lance Reddick, is nominated for his portrayal of Zeus, adding an extra layer of competition within the Percy Jackson universe. Netflix star Sarah Rafferty is also in the mix for her role in My Life with the Walter Boys, rounding out the category’s top-tier talent.
