AEW’s All In: Texas card took a major hit just hours before showtime—and fans expecting Adam Cole to defend his TNT Championship were hit with some tough news.

Tony Khan broke the story directly on Twitter, confirming that Cole is officially out of the event. “Adam Cole is not medically cleared to compete at AEW All In: Texas,” Khan wrote. That announcement comes as a major shake-up, especially with Cole scheduled to face Kyle O’Reilly in one of the event’s top matches.

Instead of delaying the match, Khan revealed that Cole has been stripped of the TNT Title. A new champion will be crowned in a four-way bout featuring “Kyle Fletcher vs Daniel Garcia vs Sammy Guevara vs Dustin Rhodes.”

Cole had been riding a wave of momentum heading into All In, and fans were eager to see him and O’Reilly square off once again. But with his medical status now in question, all eyes turn to the newly scheduled title bout to see who will step up in Cole’s absence.

AEW hasn’t released any additional details about what’s keeping Cole out or how long he’ll be sidelined. For now, fans are left wishing him well and waiting to see who walks out of Arlington with the TNT Championship.
