The true audience for TNA iMPACT!’s January 15, 2026 premiere on AMC has finally been clarified—and it’s significantly higher than the figure initially reported.
According to new information, the debut episode of TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! drew 173,000 overnight viewers with a 0.04 rating in the 18–49 demographic. This new figure more accurately reflects the show’s linear TV performance on AMC, which reaches far more homes than its former network, AXS TV.
This corrected viewership comes after earlier reports incorrectly claimed the show only drew 95,000 viewers. That number was widely circulated based on data from Programming Insider, but as Wrestlenomics later clarified on Twitter:
“CORRECTION: Programming Insider doesn't show a total viewership (P2+) number. The P2+ number reported earlier is likely incorrect. Programming Insider only appears to have various demographic data available only at this time, not total viewers.”
That clarification cast doubt over the initial 95K figure, leading to confusion and debate among fans and analysts who expected stronger numbers for TNA’s AMC relaunch.
The episode featured several major moments, including Mike Santana reclaiming the TNA World Championship from Frankie Kazarian, and the official debut of Cora Jade—now performing as Elayna Black—alongside Sonya Deville.
