WWE’s Orlando tryout this week just added another unexpected name — and it’s not from the track world or the indie scene/
On February 16, 2026, actress and model Tessa Johnston took to Instagram to reveal that she will be participating in this week’s WWE tryout camp. Johnston shared a photo of her official WWE tryout invite along with a screenshot of a message from WWE that reportedly dates back to August 2025, showing that the company first reached out months ago.
"she’s going to @wwe 👀🤭 camp begins on Tuesday 🤼♀️ @wwerecruit special s/o to @warcorey who gave me a few basics 💪🏽"
Johnston will be joining a tryout group that already features Olympic athlete Ana Da Silva and rising indie star Nikki Blackheart. So, with WWE continuing its strategy of recruiting athletes, entertainers, and social media personalities alongside traditional wrestlers, Johnston’s joining the tryout just shows the company is casting a wide net for new talent.
Between Olympians, indie champions, and now a model-actress entering the mix, this week’s tryout in Orlando is shaping up to be an interesting one. So it remains to be seen whether Johnston has what it takes to become a WWE Superstar.
