Ace Austin isn’t letting Twitter trolls rewrite his story.
After a fan commented on the AEW Continental Classic lineup, suggesting that Ace Austin and Shelton Benjamin should replace Claudio Castagnoli and Roderick Strong, another user chimed in with a dismissive take on Austin’s status in AEW.
That’s when things escalated. The second fan wrote, “Am I the only one who thinks Ace Austin is just a good jobber?”
Ace didn’t hold back, responding with confidence and sarcasm that left no room for misinterpretation. “Yes you are and you couldn’t be more wrong😂. Never been, never will be. Generic or a jobber lol.”
Since joining AEW in August, Ace Austin has aligned himself with the Bang Bang Gang and delivered consistently solid in-ring performances. His athleticism and swagger have made him stand out, even in a stacked roster. And judging by his clapback, he’s not going to let keyboard critics reduce him to a role he’s never played.
Austin’s blunt response shows he’s not afraid to defend his name—and he’s got the record to back it up. With his momentum building and his presence growing stronger, it’s clear Ace Austin is carving his path in AEW his own way.
