It’s not possible for every single AEW star to get featured on television all the time, but some key talent have been absent from television for one reason or the other. With that said, it appears one absent AEW star will be making their in-ring return during AEW Collision this week.

AEW President Tony Khan took to Twitter and announced that the show will feature a match between PAC and Komander. This comes after Komander’s Christmas victory spoiled Claudio’s C2, leading to an attack by PAC and the Death Riders. The two will settle their rivalry in the ring tonight, which marks PAC’s first match since his absence.

“TONIGHT, Sat 1/11 Athens, GA Saturday Night #AEWCollision 8pm ET/7pm CT on TNT + Max @BASTARDPAC vs. @KomandercrMX After Komander’s Christmas win spoiled Claudio’s C2, he was immediately attacked by PAC + Death Riders. The score will be settled: Komander collides vs PAC TONIGHT”

As reported earlier, PAC had been absent since the December 18 episode of Dynamite as the company simply gave him some time off, and it had absolutely nothing to do with an injury at all.

The matchup between PAC and Kommander will definitely be a solid one considering the fact that both of them are two of AEW’s most talented in-ring competitors. Regardless, Kommander is out for revenge so we’ll have to see if he will be able to pick up the win against The Bastard as well.

AEW Collision January 11, 2025 Lineup:

  • Mariah May vs. Harley Cameron
  • Dax Harwood vs. Chris Jericho
  • Cope vs. Big Bill
  • PAC vs. Kommander

What are your predictions for PAC vs. Komander? Do you think Komander has what it takes to stand toe-to-toe with PAC, or will PAC’s return to the ring end with a dominant win?
