AAA World Cruiserweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match: Dragon Lee vs. Jack Cartwheel

The match started with a handshake and a lockup. Dragon Lee sent Jack Cartwheel into the corner, but Cartwheel flipped out and they traded wristlocks. Cartwheel used his speed to hit a headscissors and take control. Lee went for a Ligerbomb, but Cartwheel escaped and Lee rolled to the outside. Cartwheel then dove over the top rope onto him and threw him back into the ring.

Cartwheel tried a spinning move through the ropes, but Lee caught him with a kick to the face and got a two count. Lee followed with punches, but Cartwheel countered with a Spanish Fly for another two count.

Lee responded with a high knee and they traded superkicks. Cartwheel hit a suplex and a stunner, but Lee answered with a sit-out Ligerbomb. Cartwheel still kicked out. Cartwheel hit a superkick and a poisonrana, then followed with a springboard twisting Phoenix splash, but Lee kicked out again. Lee hit a Styles Clash, but Cartwheel survived.

Both men fought on the top rope. Cartwheel went for a hurricanrana, but Lee countered with a double stomp and a dropkick into the turnbuckle. Lee finished the match with Operation Dragon.

Winner: Dragon Lee defeated Jack Cartwheel and became the #1 contender for Laredo Kid’s Cruiserweight Title.

After the match, Dragon Lee grabbed a microphone and thanked the crowd. Suddenly, TJ Perkins came out and said that Laredo Kid cheated in their previous match, claiming he is the real #1 contender.

Lee told Perkins to get in the ring if he had a problem. That brought Laredo Kid down to the ring, and all three men started fighting. The chaos continued until Jack Cartwheel got back up and cleared all three men out of the ring. A possible four-way match could be next to settle the situation.

Backstage, a man identified as a doctor gave a fast update in Spanish about the condition of Pimpinela Escarlata, who was attacked earlier by the original El Grande Americano. No translation or captions were provided, and more information is expected after the commercial break.

Rey de Reyes Fatal 4-Way Qualifying Match: El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. Pimpinela Escarlata vs. Omos vs. Ethan Page

El Grande Americano (Green), El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Omos, and Ethan Page were all fighting for a chance to qualify for Rey de Reyes.

The match began with Page immediately rolling out of the ring. Omos took control early, attacking both Americano and Wagner. Page tried to align himself with Omos, but Omos wasn’t interested and dropped him with a big boot.

Omos dominated much of the early match. Americano and Wagner tried to double team him, but Omos powered through them. He slammed Americano, hit Wagner with snake eyes on the turnbuckle, and followed with a massive boot.

Omos went for a pin, but Page broke it up. Americano jumped on Omos’ back while Wagner tried to lock him down, but Omos stayed on his feet and even kicked Page down while holding both men up.

Omos continued his rampage, throwing Page over the announce table and catching Americano mid-air when he tried to dive. Wagner finally staggered Omos with a dive, weakening the giant.

With Omos down outside the ring, Page and Americano tried to steal a win on each other. Wagner returned and hit a frog splash on Page, but couldn’t get the victory.

The match broke down further when Wagner hit a Wagner Driver on Page, but Santos Escobar ran in and attacked Wagner, brawling with him to the back.

Back in the ring, Omos returned and grabbed both Page and Americano by the throat. Suddenly, Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano ran in and handcuffed Omos to the ring post, taking him out of the match.

Americano then used a loaded headbutt on Page and locked in a surfboard submission, forcing Page to tap. However, the referee was knocked out and didn’t see it.

The original El Grande Americano ran down to interfere, but La Parka appeared and took him out. This gave Americano the opening to hit another loaded headbutt on Page. The referee recovered and counted the pin.

Winner: El Grande Americano defeated El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Omos, and Ethan Page to qualify for Rey de Reyes.
