Jade Cargill has always faced a lot of criticism ever since she joined WWE back in 2023, especially when it comes to her in-ring skills. Following her huge win on the June 23 episode of Raw, Cargill has now called out fans for their double standards over her in-ring skills.

While speaking during the Raw Recap Show, Jade Cargill said that Terry Taylor and William Regal are quiet supporters who always check in on her to make sure she’s doing okay. She said they are very direct; if they don’t like something, they tell her to drop it and move on.

“Terry Taylor and William Regal as well. Those are the unspoken voices that always check in with me and make sure I’m good. They’re very cut and dry, as in if it’s something they don’t like, they’re like, ‘No, throw that away, we’re moving on.'”

Cargill talked about the heavy pressure she feels all the time and also called out fans for their double standards. Cargill states that while others might make mistakes and be given a pass, when she makes even one mistake it turns into a big deal, despite having done the move successfully several times before.

Cargill said it’s all about perception, and because people know how much pressure she’s under, Taylor and Regal want to protect her image and cut anything that could be seen in a negative way

“I have so much pressure on my back. Someone else can go out there and make a mistake and they’re like, ‘Oh okay, that person is fine.’ But if I make a mistake, ‘Oh no, I told you, told you, told you!’ Even though I’ve executed this move about five times. It’s that one time, and it’s just that perception because they know I have such pressure on me. They want the best for me. So if they see anything that won’t be seen in a positive light, they cut it right then and there.”

Jade Cargill made it clear that no one else can decide who she is. She’s going to be herself, no matter what people think. At the end of the day, she’s the one living in her own body and mind. She won’t let anyone tell her what to do or believe, she’s in control of her own future.

“No one can tell you who you are. So I’m gonna go out there and represent, regardless of how people feel about me. At the end of the day, the only person who has to sit in this body and deal with this mind is me. Nobody’s gonna tell me what I’m gonna do, what I’m gonna believe. I’m the playmaker, and I’m in control of my destiny.”

Jade Cargill defeated Roxanne Perez to advance to the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament during the June 23rd edition of Raw. She will now face Asuka in the finals at Night of Champions, so we’ll have to wait and see if Cargill will end up winning the tournament and getting a shot at the WWE Women’s Title.
