Mr. Kennedy had a bright future ahead of him in WWE but while he’s been gone from WWE for a long time now, Kennedy has now revealed he will be starting a new podcast and what it will be about.

While speaking on the Heel S#!t Podcast, Mr. Kennedy was asked about a vignette labeled “616” that appeared on his social media. He confirmed that it was connected to a new project he’s been working on, which is a podcast.

Kennedy explained that this idea had been in the works for a while. Although he had hosted two podcasts in the past, one of them wasn’t focused on pro wrestling at all. Instead, it tackled controversial topics like politics and religion, subjects he’s deeply passionate about but hadn’t felt comfortable talking about publicly until now.

“Yeah, actually it’s funny that you bring that up because we can talk about that. I’m starting a podcast. It’s something that I’ve been kicking around for quite a while. I’ve actually had two different podcasts in the past. The first one didn’t even focus on pro wrestling—we talked about the things you’re not supposed to talk about: politics, religion. Those are topics I’m really passionate about. I didn’t want to get into that here because, well, you know.”

Kennedy mentioned that this new podcast will go deeper into things he’s only mentioned briefly before. He said he’s not trying to be negative or bring up bad memories since he just wants to share his side of the story. He feels people haven’t really heard his full opinion on certain things.

Kennedy added that not every episode will be serious. The first one will talk about his time traveling with Eddie Guerrero, working with him, and being part of Eddie’s last match. He said it will be a strong start to the podcast.

There’s no release date yet, but it will be on his YouTube channel. He started that channel after leaving WWE and made some funny videos about what he would do next and right now, it has about 4,000 subscribers.

But that’s basically what this new podcast is about. There are things I’ve touched on before that I haven’t really gone in depth with. Now I will. I’ll give my personal take—it’s not about being bitter or reopening old wounds. If I bring up the past, it’s just to share my perspective. One thing people haven’t really heard is my full, honest opinion on certain matters.

And it won’t always be heavy stuff. For example, our first episode is going to be a banger—we’ll be talking about my time riding with Eddie Guerrero, working with him, and, sadly, being part of his last match. Things like that. We’re really going to get into it.

We don’t have a release date yet, but we do have a YouTube channel. I actually started it when I left WWE—I did a short series, about ten videos, kind of joking around about what I’d do next. It was meant to be funny. Right now, we’ve got around 4,000 subscribers on there.”

Mr. Kennedy’s return with a new podcast is an exciting step in his journey. Therefore, we’ll have to see how his new podcast turns out as fans are definitely looking forward to it already.
