Kevin Owens may be out of action with a serious neck injury, but he still turned heads at Fanatics Fest on Sunday.
A short clip that surfaced online shows Owens casually moving through the venue with multiple officers walking nearby. It’s unclear why he was being escorted, but it’s now confirmed that he was at the event to sign autographs. Still, it was enough to get people talking—especially given the uncertainty surrounding his wrestling future.
It’s not clear why law enforcement was accompanying Owens during the event, but his presence definitely caught attention, especially considering his uncertain WWE future.
Owens recently spoke with Le10Sport and opened up about his injury status, revealing that he’s being monitored by multiple specialists and has yet to undergo neck surgery. He credited Randy Orton for helping him find the right doctor:
“He immediately put me in touch with the surgeon who performed his surgery, which saved his career. Since then, I’ve been in constant contact with this surgeon who evaluates all my test results, keeps an eye on everything that’s going on and advises me as I go along.”
He also confirmed that he now consults with a team of four doctors:
“I have four specialists who are at my disposal and to whom I can ask questions whenever I need them. So, I’m in very good hands. Randy has helped me a lot in this process.”
Owens also admitted he’s unsure if he’ll ever wrestle again. Doctors are still waiting to see how his condition progresses before committing to surgery or a timeline.
Whether his appearance at Fanatics Fest was just for fun or something more involved, Kevin Owens showing up in Cena merch while walking around in what appeared to be tactical gear added another layer of mystery to his current status.
