WWE NXT just lost one of its standout champions. General Manager Ava took to Twitter on June 21, 2025, to drop a major announcement regarding the status of the NXT Heritage Cup—and it’s not good news for fans of Noam Dar.

According to Ava, Noam Dar has suffered an injury that will prevent him from competing this Tuesday on NXT. As a result, he’ll be forced to vacate the Heritage Cup Championship.

“Due to injury, Noam Dar will not be able to compete this Tuesday and will have to relinquish the NXT Heritage Cup Championship.”

With Dar sidelined, NXT is already moving forward. Ava confirmed that a new champion will be crowned this Tuesday on NXT TV. Stacks is already locked in for the match, but his opponent has yet to be revealed.

“This Tuesday, Stacks will compete in a match to crown a new Heritage Cup Champion against an opponent to be named.”

This shakeup comes at a time when NXT has been heating up its summer programming, and with the Heritage Cup now vacant, all eyes are on who steps up next. For Stacks, this could be the breakout opportunity he’s been waiting for. For Dar, it’s a tough setback in a run that’s been marked by consistency and in-ring precision.

Do you think Stacks will walk out with the gold on Tuesday—or is NXT about to surprise us with a shocking replacement? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
