Michelle McCool is a coach in WWE LFG Season 2 and she ended up taking Mickie James’ place on the show. While many people thought The Undertaker played a role in this, it appears that’s not the case at all as McCool was offered the role for Season 1 as well.

While speaking to SHAK Wrestling, The Undertaker laughed off the idea that he got Mickie James removed to make space for Michelle McCool. He explained that when he was presented with the opportunity to be a coach, McCool was presented with the opportunity at the same time.

The Deadman revealed that Michelle McCool couldn’t join him as a coach in Season 1 because their family schedule made it too difficult. McCool’s limited involvement in Season 1 helped them figure out if taking on a full-time spot in Season 2 would work. After seeing how things went, WWE revisited the idea and made it official.

“When I was presented with the opportunity to be a coach, she was presented with the opportunity at the same time. We couldn’t do it together because the kids were in school. It was too much.  That’s why she had a few spots on Season 1. We were trying to figure out schedules and what it would be like if she were to do Season 2. Originally we thought it was going to be even have more occurrences in in Season 1, but again we got it worked out and she was able to do Season 2.”
