LA Knight isn’t making the jump to Raw full-time—at least not yet. Despite a growing push from within WWE to move “The Megastar” to Monday nights, a new report confirms he’s staying put on SmackDown for now.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE currently has no plans to officially shift Knight to the Raw roster. However, the brand split isn’t being treated as strict, allowing Knight to appear on both shows as needed—especially as his current storyline continues to involve Raw talent.
“On LA Knight to Raw, he will be and is doing a program with the Paul Heyman group and Raw guys and Smackdown guys aren’t strict at all. But no move to Raw right now as a home base, but he’ll be on the show at times,” Meltzer wrote.
In recent weeks, Knight has interfered in key Raw segments, including costing both Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed their King of the Ring qualifying matches. These attacks have added fuel to his ongoing issues with Heyman’s faction and kept him active across both brands.
Initial speculation about a permanent move to Raw came from WrestleVotes, who reported that multiple WWE sources were advocating for the change to inject new energy into Raw’s upcoming Netflix run.
Knight has only wrestled on Raw twice in his WWE career, but his popularity continues to soar. Even without a full-time spot on Monday nights, WWE clearly sees value in keeping him on both shows for the foreseeable future.
