WWE President Nick Khan isn’t losing sleep over what people say about him online—and he definitely isn’t letting Twitter trolls shape the future of WWE programming.

During his in-depth conversation on What’s Your Story? With Stephanie McMahon, Khan made it clear that he doesn’t even look at social media commentary about himself. In fact, he says he never has.

Khan explained the mindset that keeps him focused on the big picture—no matter how loud the critics get online.

“I’ve never once searched my name on X, or Google. Whether it’s good or bad—doesn’t matter to me. It’s not real life. I try to keep my head down and work. If I’m doing something wrong, someone I trust will tell me. I’m not going to let someone with 14 followers decide how I feel about my day.”

He also made it clear that WWE’s creative team isn’t taking cues from the internet either. While acknowledging that fan engagement matters, Khan said that chasing validation from the most vocal corners of the internet is a losing game.

“We try to program for the universe—not the people who want to criticize you. That doesn’t mean we don’t care what people think, but it means we care more about everyone, not just the loudest voices. You want to serve the biggest audience—not the smallest, angriest one.”

Khan went on to share how this philosophy is ingrained in the company’s approach from the top down, particularly with Triple H leading creative.

“Paul [Levesque] and I talk about it all the time—we train our creative team to ignore the noise. Trust the data. Trust your instincts. Don’t let Twitter or Reddit or whatever throw you off your game.”

Nick Khan’s no-nonsense approach is part of what’s made WWE a global powerhouse—and it sounds like social media isn’t going to shake that anytime soon.
