WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan’s health has always been a cause of concern for fans since he’s undergone several surgeries over the years. He also had neck surgery last month but now it appears that Hogan is allegedly on his deathbed due to complications arising from that surgery.
While speaking on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show, Bubba shared some serious news about Hulk Hogan’s health. He said that based on reliable sources, Hulk Hogan is currently in a hospital and things aren’t looking good.
Bubba claimed that some of Hogan’s family members are being called to come say goodbye, which suggests the situation might be very serious.
“So I’ll tell you this — if you did some sniffing around, you might find him at a hospital near you, and it’s not good. I got some pretty reliable information last night that there are phone calls being made to various family members about getting to town to come say their goodbyes.”
Bubba also explained that while his sources are very reliable, he hasn’t spoken to them since last evening. Therefore, there’s a chance things may have changed, like if Hogan was discharged from the hospital. Even then, the last update he got made it sound like Hogan’s condition was very bad, and some people think he might not make it.
“So listen, my sources are pretty damn reliable, but I still want to frame it carefully in case he got discharged last night at midnight and I haven’t talked to my sources since yesterday around 6 o’clock. My sources say, allegedly, Hogan is in the hospital, and I’ve heard people say that he might not make it. This should create a feeding frenzy among reporters in the wrestling industry and maybe even in pop culture — but he is not doing well. He is not in good shape.”
According to Bubba, the problem might be a heart issue, possibly caused by complications from the neck surgery Hogan had a few weeks ago. Even though it was a semi-major surgery, Hogan was seen just a few days later out in public, promoting his new wrestling promotion and making appearances at liquor stores and bars to promote his beer.
Bubba said Hogan shouldn’t have been traveling or working so soon, especially at almost 72 years old. He also said that Hogan’s team may have downplayed how serious the surgery was, calling it “minor” when it could’ve actually been major.
“I believe it’s a heart issue. I’ve been told that he publicly talked about a neck fusion surgery from a few weeks ago. My sources say it’s complications from that. And because within 72 hours of having this major neck fusion surgery, he was out promoting this new wrestling league, doing personal appearances at liquor stores and bars that carry his beer — he had no business being out and about. Whether you’re flying on a private plane or Delta, you don’t have the comforts of home. Terry’s going to be 72 soon, and I don’t think the doctors who did the surgery — I believe it was downplayed by a lot of people from Hogan’s camp — said it was minor, but it might’ve been major.”
Bubba also said that if Hulk Hogan does pass away, the media will likely ask him how he feels. Bubba admitted that he feels torn, because for over 12 years, he says Hogan could have helped him clear his name after the sex tape scandal that damaged his life.
Bubba added that a lot of people still blame Bubba for it, even though he says Hogan knows the truth and was paid a lot of money, which according to Bubba, proves he didn’t betray Hulk Hogan.
“If Terry does die, you know the media’s gonna be all over me, wanting to know how I feel. And I feel torn, because he’s had 12 years to help me clear my name — even just a little — in what’s been held against me for the rest of my life. The sex tape. And a lot of people don’t know the truth. They think I’m the guy who did him dirty. He knows the truth. He was paid handsomely — because that’s not the truth.”
At the time of writing, there is no confirmed evidence that Hulk Hogan is on his deathbed due to health complications. Therefore, we will have to see whether someone from Hogan’s side will confirm or deny what Bubba the Love Sponge claimed. In the meantime, fans are just hoping for the best.
