Elijah may be dealing with a serious injury after this week’s episode of WWE NXT. During a six-man tag team match, he appeared to hurt his left arm while attempting a move made famous by The Undertaker—and it could now put his upcoming TNA appearances in jeopardy.

Teaming with Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs, Elijah faced off against Trick Williams, AJ Francis, and Wes Lee on Tuesday night’s show. While walking the ropes for the Undertaker’s “old-school” spot, Elijah came down awkwardly and was noticeably favoring his left arm for the rest of the match.

Bryan Alvarez broke the news on X, revealing that Elijah didn’t appear to use his arm again after the spot:

“Elijah injured his left arm on NXT, somehow it appears nobody even noticed. Hopefully not too serious, but looked like elbow injury or maybe torn triceps.”

In his full recap of the match for subscribers, Alvarez went into more detail about how it happened:

“What happened was, he tried the Undertaker old-school and landed really weird on his elbow and appeared to injure it badly. He basically didn’t use his arm for the rest of the match and somehow nobody noticed it. May have been an elbow injury or a torn triceps.”

The injury could impact Elijah’s schedule, including his appearance at this weekend’s TNA television tapings in Pittsburgh. He’s currently featured on promotional materials for the June 20 and 21 events at the UPMC Events Center, alongside names like The Hardys, Masha Slamovich, Moose, and Joe Hendry.

Elijah is also set to appear in the main event of Impact this Thursday—a taped match from June 7—where he teams with The Rascalz, Joe Hendry, and Leon Slater against Steve Maclin, Moose, Trick Williams, and The Nemeths.

As of now, neither WWE nor TNA has issued an official update on Elijah’s condition. But given the nature of the injury and how it occurred, fans are holding their breath.

Elijah’s momentum has been strong across both brands, but a potential elbow or triceps injury could throw a wrench into everything.

What do you think this injury means for Elijah’s dual-brand presence in WWE NXT and TNA? Should he pull out of this weekend’s tapings to recover? Drop your thoughts and let us know how you’d handle it.
