The Undertaker retired from in-ring competition after his match at WrestleMania 36 and he has struggled to find purpose after retiring. Fans have been wondering whether the Deadman would ever find himself in a backstage role in WWE, and now it appears that he actually is interested in a creative role in the company.
While speaking on the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan was asked if he saw The Undertaker at AAA Worlds Collide and whether he got a chance to meet him. He confirmed that The Undertaker was there and mentioned that he had been actively involved behind the scenes.
According to Konnan, The Undertaker seems interested in joining WWE’s creative team and has already taken part in creative at events like Money in the Bank. Konnan believes The Undertaker would do well in a creative role, saying he’s heard some of his ideas and agrees with his way of thinking.
“Yes, bro was running around. So I think that Undertaker wants to get into creative. He likes it a lot, and he’s been—he was in creative at Money in the Bank. He was at the other one, Worlds Collide, and he’s very interested in being part of the creative team.
He’d do well, bro. Because I listen to some of his, you know, thoughts—and I agree with him.”
The Undertaker has been working as the coach for WWE LFG for the past few months and he’s clearly excelled in the role in a big way. That’s why fans feel he would actually do well in a creative role as well.
Considering the decades of experience he has under his belt, there’s no doubt that The Undertaker would be a huge asset to WWE Creative. Therefore, we’ll have to see whether he will end up joining Creative for good.
