GUNTHER isn’t just brushing off Goldberg’s WWE return—he’s mocking it. After their tense showdown on the June 16 episode of RAW, the new World Heavyweight Champion didn’t waste time taking a shot at his legendary challenger, and he did it in the most savage way possible: Instagram

In a new post following their face-to-face confrontation, GUNTHER shared photos of the RAW moment and added a caption that quickly got fans talking: “I’m next … guess I can spare 3 minutes.”

The jab was a not-so-subtle reference to Goldberg’s infamous short matches throughout his WWE run, many of which barely lasted longer than a couple minutes. It also added fuel to the fire ahead of their confirmed clash at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12 in Atlanta, Georgia—Goldberg’s final match.

The confrontation took place during RAW at the Resch Center in Green Bay. GUNTHER had just cut a promo about defeating Jey Uso and declared himself untouchable. The crowd responded by chanting “Goldberg!” which prompted GUNTHER to lash out, claiming he was “done with him.”

But that’s when Goldberg’s music hit. He stormed the ring and challenged GUNTHER to a match in Atlanta, calling back to a previous confrontation between them. Goldberg’s exact words in the ring: “You started something with me in Atlanta… and I’m finishing it in Atlanta. GUNTHER — you’re next.”

The RAW segment also streamed live on Netflix, giving the moment an even bigger platform. Goldberg, who has spoken openly about the physical toll of preparing for this match, confirmed it would be his final in-ring appearance. He’s been training with Muay Thai and admitted the process has left him dealing with multiple injuries, including a blown bicep and shoulder issues.

Despite that, Goldberg has stayed committed to ending his career on his terms. But with GUNTHER brushing him off as a “3-minute” inconvenience, the Hall of Famer may need more than nostalgia to walk out with pride.

Will Goldberg prove he has more than three minutes left in the tank? Or is GUNTHER about to crush another legend on his rise? Drop your thoughts and predictions in the comments.
