Bayley made her return during the June 9th edition of Raw as she attacked Becky Lynch for taking her out of action at WrestleMania 41. Since then, fans have been wondering why she came back last week and now she has explained the reason behind her return.

While speaking on the Raw Recap show, Bayley was asked why she returned during last week’s episode of Raw and why it was the right time. Bayley said that she needed her shoulder to heal first.

Bayley felt that Becky Lynch’s actions had gone too far, especially after Becky turned on Lyra Valkyria, saying it was terrible, annoying, and heartbreaking for Valkyria. While everything was happening between Becky and Lyra, Bayley had to sit back and see how everything played out.

“Well first, you know, my shoulder had to get better—duh. I think Becky’s games had gone too far. You know, her turning on Lyra was terrible, annoying, and heartbreaking for Lyra. I kinda had to sit back and see how everything played out.”

The former WWE Women’s Champion said she still had her own issues with Becky and had to wait for the perfect moment. That moment came when Becky Lynch won the Women’s Intercontinental Championship and was at her happiest. That’s when Bayley knew it was the right time to return and make her move.

“To me, like, I know my issues with Becky—while all this was going on with Lyra and Becky—there was nothing I could do. I had to strike when the time was right, and that was when she was at her happiest as the newest Women’s Intercontinental Champion. And that’s exactly why I decided to come back that night.”

Bayley will now challenge Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the June 23rd edition of Monday Night Raw after an intense promo on this week’s show. Therefore, we’ll have to see whether Bayley will be able to beat Lynch for the title and get her revenge on The Man.
